June 19 – Juneteenth & Cultural Pass

June 19

Farmington offers free tours on Juneteenth, the federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.

Farmington is thrilled to welcome Cultural Pass visitors again this year. Youth & Senior Passholders welcome. All visits begin in the Visitor Center.  We will stamp your Passport and give you your tour packet- including the self-guided tours of the Main House, and the grounds. Docents will be stationed throughout the museum to answer questions. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds.    Last entry to the Main house is at 2:00.

Today’s special guests/activities: more information coming soon.  Youth Passholders may complete and turn in a scavenger hunt for entry into a prize drawing at the end of summer.

Non-Cultural Pass participants are welcome to visit and tour on Cultural Pass days.

Cultural Pass offers young people ages 0-21 and their families in the Greater Louisville area access to participate in arts and cultural activities provided by over 50 venues, free of charge.  Must have your physical Cultural Pass passport with you.  Eligible youth may register and pick their Passports up at their county library.  Group Cultural Pass experiences may be arranged through Fund for the Arts.
