This is a free, public concert. Pre-registration is recommended but not required.
Quattro Voce are professional, free-lance musicians who love to find and play music that champions new or obscure voices from the past and present.
They will perform an approximately 45-minute concert of music all by women composers. This “Women Composers Through the Ages” is in honor of March Women’s History Month. The program begins with a piece from renaissance period and continues in chronological order with several selections, ending with a present-day composition.
Each selection will be introduced with a few words to give some context to what the audience is about to hear (the time period, her more well-known contemporaries, etc.)
Concert by the Quattro Voce String Quartet to be held in the Carriage House. The room is only accessible by stairs.
Program funded by a grant from the Musicians’ Performance Trust Fund.
