Pollinator Field Premiere

Join us for a full day of events celebrating the new Pollinator Field and other agricultural activities at Farmington.  All events are free and open to the public.

Pollinator Premiere Activities

  • 12:00 Introduction of Representatives– At the Pollinator Field (including-KY Dept of Fish & Wildlife, Quail Forever, Kentucky Wild, KY Quail License Plate, Noah Porillo-Boy Scouts)
  • 12:10 Presentation
  • 12:25 Questions & Answers

At Your Own Pace

  • 12:30 Walk around the Pollinator Field, Produce Fields, grounds-head to Bee Hives. Refreshments available in the Brand Pavillion.
  • 12:45 Sophia Fritschner, beekeeper, talk about the Farmington Bee Hives
  • 1:00 Master Gardeners present at the Historic, Kitchen & Educational gardens for information and tours of garden

 

  • 11:00-1:00 entry to the Historic Home for tours. Cultural Pass Holders-get your pass stamped at the front porch or the Visitor Center & pick up a scavenger hunt.
