Night Flyer-2025 LCHE Book Discussion Series @ Riverside

The Louisville Coalition on the History of Enslavement

will host 4 book discussions at each of our sites throughout 2025.

The following is a list of books that will be discussed as well as the site the discussion will be held.

  • March 6, at Oxmoor Farm: James by Percival Everett
  • May 15 at Locust Grove: Praise Song for the Kitchen Ghosts by Crystal Wilkinson
  • July 17 at Farmington: Cecilia & Fanny: The Remarkable Friendship between an Escaped Slave & Her Former Mistress by Brad Asher
  • October 9 at Riverside: The Farnsley-Moremen Landing: Night Flyer: Harriett Tubman and the Faith Dreams of a Free People by Tiya Miles

Books featured in the 2025 LCHE book discussion series can be purchased at the Farmington Museum Store. 

Refreshments will be provided.  While reading the book before the discussion is encouraged, it is not required.

The discussions are FREE to the public thanks to the generous support of Guy and Elizabeth Montgomery.
