SUMMARY:Hearth Cooking Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Spend the day with experienced hearth cook\, Chas Stephens\, prepping and cooking a full meal before sitting down to enjoy the spoils of your efforts with your fellow workshop attendees. Class size limited to 10 participants per workshop.  At about 6:30 pm you and others will dine on the day’s bounty complete with wine and bourbon options.  Workshop fee includes the cost of all ingredients and beverages.  Cooking will take place in Farmington’s summer kitchen building.  Workshop will be held several times in 2025.    Groups larger then 10 that are interested in the class should call Farmington. Workshop will run from Noon to completion of dinner (~8pm). \nTickets can be purchased from the event page

DESCRIPTION:All Visits/House Tours begin in the Farmington Visitor Center Museum store.   Staff will check in your pass\, and give you a stamp for house entry.  Non-passholders may purchase their tour tickets in the museum store. \nVisits begin in the Visitor Center\, where the exhibit room is open all day.  On Pass days the House and Grounds tours are self-guided\, participants progress through the experience at their own pace.   All Passholders will need to check in before beginning their explorations.  The museum is staffed with guides to answer questions.   Our new interactive map activity guides exploration of the outdoor stations. \nCultural Pass offers young people ages 0-21 and their families in the Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana area access to participate in arts\, culture\, science\, history\, heritage\, and nature activities provided by over 50 venues\, free of charge\, from May 31 through August 10\, 2025.  New for 2025 the Pass has moved to the Cultural Pass APP now available for download. \nTodays Special Guest Experience: Archaeologist led Rope Making station \nVISITING LOUISVILLE or NOT A PASS HOLDERS:  Guided Tours & Online booking is not available today.  You may take the self-guided tour at special rates.
