SUMMARY:Growing Perennials: Secrets to Success
DESCRIPTION:Many homeowners and beginning gardeners find their way to perennials to lessen the cost of filling beds and borders each year with annuals. That’s certainly a good reason for growing perennials but there are so many more! In this fun class\, an experienced gardener and landscape designer will take a cheeky look at both the pros and cons of growing perennials. We’ll examine perennials’ eccentricities (yes\, they are!) and give tips that only a decades-on grower can give. The class will touch on design considerations for planting a new space or renovating an existing one. And no perennials’ class is complete without looking and talking about plants! \nThis class will explore: \n\nThe reasons you should plant perennials and considerations for not planting them\nAn exploration of the eccentricities of perennials\nHow gardening ‘mistakes’ make us better perennial gardeners\nDesign tips for new or to-be renovated spaces\nA look at and description of perennials to grow in sun and shade

SUMMARY:Perennial Garden Trends: From Pollinator Gardens to Prairie Borders
